Portraits of the 8 most powerful women of India Finance

India is a place of misogyny and patriarchy since time immemorial, and the articles of newspapers everyday witness this fact. But there are exceptions: some women obtained positions of power.

India, it is known, is a place of contradictions as well.
Powerful women control the same society that discriminates them – economically, legally, politically and in everyday life.

Examples? 3 of 30 government leaders are women: Sheila Dikshit was in Delhi, Mamata Benerjee in West Bengal and Jayalalithaa in Tamil Nadu.
